Why Meditation?

Meditation has widespread positive effects on the body, brain and mind. It’s the process of Relaxation, Awareness and Expansion of Awareness which leads to freedom from conflict, fear and sufferings and the experience of peace, passion and bliss.

The good effects of meditation:

There are enough evidence from scientific research about the good effects of meditation on body, brain and mind.

  1. Reversal of  stress response and relaxation :

The most important and early effect of meditation is relaxation and freedom from stress.

With turbulent streams of thought, both good and bad, constantly rushing through the mind, people experience stress. The three pillars of a healthy life, namely appetite, sleep, and sex, are disturbed.

If this response continues, permanent damage may occur to the body and the brain and may lead to many health problems including sleep disturbances, anxiety or depression, memory loss, increased risk of accidents, problems in relationships and work various physical illnesses such as asthma, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, high blood pressure, heart problems, strokes, allergies, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, tension and migraine headaches, arthritis, infertility, hormonal disturbances, decreasing functioning of the immune system causing frequent infections, obesity, possibly cancer of various kinds, premature aging, etc.

Meditation reverses the effects of stress and induces relaxation to help in healing the body and mind.
